Privacy notice
How Stixx Digital Ltd collects, uses and protects personal data. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
Who we are
This website is operated by Stixx Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11767230), registered office Suite 128, Interchange Business Centre, Howard Way, Interchange Park, Newport Pagnell, MK16 9FX. EngageAI is a trading name of Stixx Digital Ltd. For this notice, "we", "us" and "our" mean Stixx Digital Ltd.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and for our own marketing and client relationships. Questions about this notice or your data can be sent to gavin@stixxdigital.com.
What we collect and why
Enquiries and calls
When you complete our contact form, book a call, email or phone us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number and anything you choose to tell us. We use it to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to business enquiries) or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Clients and suppliers
We hold contact and account details for the people we work with to deliver services, manage the relationship and meet legal and accounting obligations. Lawful bases: performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests.
Website data
Our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising cookies on this website. If we add analytics that require consent, we will ask for it first and update this notice.
Calls to our VoiceAI demo line
Calls to our demonstration line are answered by an AI agent and the caller is told this at the start. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can operate and improve the service. Please do not share sensitive personal information on a demo call.
Lead generation campaigns
When we run lead generation campaigns, consumers submit their details through campaign forms, comparison sites or social media lead forms. The privacy information shown at the point of collection explains who receives those details and why. We only pass a lead to a client where the person has asked to be contacted about that product or service, and we keep a record of that consent. Anyone who has submitted details through one of our campaigns can contact us at gavin@stixxdigital.com to ask what we hold, to withdraw consent or to object to further contact.
When we deliver AI services for clients, such as answering a client's calls or chats, we normally act as a data processor on the client's instructions. In that case the client's own privacy notice applies, and we process the data under a written agreement.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only where needed, with:
- clients who have bought a lead or appointment you asked to receive;
- service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting, email, scheduling, telephony, CRM and AI platform providers, under contracts that protect your data;
- professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We never sell your data to third parties for their own unrelated marketing.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to two years after our last contact unless you become a client. Client records are kept for six years after the relationship ends for legal and accounting reasons. Lead and consent records are kept for as long as needed to show the lead was lawfully collected, and no longer than three years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can object to direct marketing at any time and we will stop. To use any of these rights, email gavin@stixxdigital.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted connections and working with reputable providers.
